Requirements
Meet & Greet (Temperament Assessment)
Required for all new dogs before enrolling in daycare.
Ensures safe socialization and compatibility with other dogs.
Vaccinations (must provide proof from a licensed vet)
Rabies (required by law; puppies must receive by 16 weeks)
Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
Bordetella (kennel cough, updated every 6–12 months)
Canine Influenza (optional)
Leptospirosis (optional)
Health & Safety
Dogs must be free of parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms).
Must not show signs of contagious illness (coughing, diarrhea, skin infections).
Spay/Neuter: Required for dogs over 6 months (common industry standard—prevents fights and unwanted behaviors).
Dogs must be on a veterinarian-approved flea/tick preventative.
Age Requirements
Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old with full round of vaccinations completed.
Senior dogs accepted if in good health and comfortable in group settings.
Behavior
Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people and other dogs.
Dogs who show excessive stress, anxiety, or unsafe behaviors may not be suitable for daycare.
Documentation
Completed enrollment form.
Signed daycare agreement (liability waiver, emergency vet care authorization, etc.).
Emergency contact information.
Supplies to Bring
Collar with ID tag (flat buckle or quick-release only, no choke/prong collars).
Leash (non-retractable).
Food (if feeding during stay), labeled with dog’s name and instructions.
Piece of clothing (t-shirt) for comfort and familiarity.
