Requirements


Meet & Greet (Temperament Assessment)

  • Required for all new dogs before enrolling in daycare.

  • Ensures safe socialization and compatibility with other dogs.

Vaccinations (must provide proof from a licensed vet)

  • Rabies (required by law; puppies must receive by 16 weeks)

  • Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)

  • Bordetella (kennel cough, updated every 6–12 months)

  • Canine Influenza (optional)

  • Leptospirosis (optional)

Health & Safety

  • Dogs must be free of parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms).

  • Must not show signs of contagious illness (coughing, diarrhea, skin infections).

  • Spay/Neuter: Required for dogs over 6 months (common industry standard—prevents fights and unwanted behaviors).

  • Dogs must be on a veterinarian-approved flea/tick preventative.

Age Requirements

  • Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old with full round of vaccinations completed.

  • Senior dogs accepted if in good health and comfortable in group settings.

Behavior

  • Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people and other dogs.

  • Dogs who show excessive stress, anxiety, or unsafe behaviors may not be suitable for daycare.

Documentation

  • Completed enrollment form.

  • Signed daycare agreement (liability waiver, emergency vet care authorization, etc.).

  • Emergency contact information.

Supplies to Bring

  • Collar with ID tag (flat buckle or quick-release only, no choke/prong collars).

  • Leash (non-retractable).

  • Food (if feeding during stay), labeled with dog’s name and instructions.

  • Piece of clothing (t-shirt) for comfort and familiarity.
